Job Purpose

As a project manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and expected quality, and within budget. You will coordinate team efforts, manage resources, and mitigate risks to achieve project goals and deliverables in line with the PMBOK principles.

Qualifications/Experience:

Qualifications:

  • Academic background:

    • B-Eng with at least 3 years’ experience, or

    • B-Tech with at least 5 years’ experience, or

    • National Diploma in Engineering with at least 10 years’ experience, or

    • Trade Test/Red Seal (in any discipline) with 15 years of experience may be considered.

  • Project management qualifications will be advantageous.

  • Professional registrations such as PMP or PrCM will be advantageous.

  • Strong Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • MS Projects is an added advantage.

  • Excellent writing skills.


Experience:

  • Minimum 3 – 10 years’ experience in construction project management dependent on academic

    background.

  • Strong communication skills - Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and appropriate application to PMBOK.

  • Planning - Execution, and completion of projects.

  • Leadership abilities.

  • Risk management.

  • Budgeting and Estimation.

  • Manage budgets.
